  1. And I thought we were starting to warm up for summer. Central coast’s chiefest blessing is that whatever happens it doesn’t last long. One month of winter is a good thing. Stay cozy, Kate et al.

  2. Stay warm, Angel

  3. Ah, you are so sweet! I am actually a tad too warm. I banked the fire, after putting on an all-nighter log, got into my Jammie’s, and am watching TV, sorta … the signal keeps coming in and out, so I have a book for back-up. Just put new batteries in my weather station, and it is a toasty 39 outside, so no worries, here. Snow is actually a good insulator, so hoping that will help. Chew’s Ridge, which is higher than my mountain, is down to 38 degrees and dropping. The real cold will hit about 4 am, according to NOAA, NWS. bigsurkate, on a mountain top in Big Sur

  4. Getting cold here at the Hermitage. Hope to see snow in the morning. Putting an extra log in the fire tonight.
