  1. moral of the story — always carry a chainsaw. hope you went back for all that great firewood!

  2. I remember those days 🙂

  3. The blog is not enough. You should write a book Kate.

  4. What a woman! I love the touch of pink on the dashboard as you face off, get set to pull all hell out of that foolish tree. This is just so thumping heart warming it’s not funny. (And keeping the chrome grill shiny, that’s what fenders are for!)
    I second Mike Morales’ idea.

  5. I will never be woman enough for Big Sur. Thank goodness I have backup!

  6. Nice job, Kate!
That was a big one, too.
Get a little Stihl saw, you could make short work of a coast live oak.
    Cheaper then fenders.
    I love those photos.

  7. yes…for Sur!

  8. loc

  9. Loc is Plaskett

  10. You rock Kate! Fenders are overrated.

  11. Yeah, really. My other fender is damaged, anyway, so I think I’ll take it off so they match!

  12. I’m gob-smacked!

  13. i mean your a loc!

  14. Okay, I think …

  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOC

Which “loc” are you talking about?

  16. I like the military “line of communication” myself, but Scott was referring to local. Ah … The new age of cryptic abbreviations, brought on by mass digital communication – and cell phone typing!

  17. Seems like a lot of work just to get to Starbucks. 😀
